Cheese Crisps…Easy Low Carb Snack

I found this recipe for Cheese Crisps on Pinterest and this site. I made them this week and they are delicious!!

You can't even call it a recipe, because it really is just baking the grated cheese until they are melty and crisp.

One tip I read from Emily at Joyful Abode was to use parchment paper on your cookie sheet. I 100% agree. The cheese crisps just peel right off. Thanks Emily!

Arrange your little piles of cheese on the paper.

Bake at 350 degrees for 7 minutes.

They will be melty and brown on the edges.

Let them cool.

Peel off the paper.

I baked the second batch a minute or two longer to brown them more. Either way they are yummy…just your preference.

Great replacement for potato chips or mid-day snack.

You can grate your own cheese, but I had a bag of taco cheese left over, so it was perfect.

Enjoy!!

  5. Yum- I've made these with parmesan cheese but never a cheese blend- must try- I'm doing a gluten free experiment so these are a great alternative to crackers! :)

  6. I make these stovetop using a non-stick griddle pan (spray with some non-stick spray). Heat it, then spoon a thin layer of cheese onto the pan. It cooks very quickly.
