My husband bought me this cloche for Christmas last year. We only exchange one gift for each other and he remembered me mentioning this one in TJ Maxx. They sell them in different styles and price ranges. I use it for every season and holiday and change out what's inside.
Pop in and see the inexpensive decorations you can add to your home too...
The black glitter pumpkin is from Walmart for $2.50. You could paint one you already have black for the scary effect.
The black crows are from The Dollar Tree for...well, a dollar each!
Also found this bag of sheet moss at the dollar store too.
This stem was in the way for me, so I pulled it off.
Comes out easily.
The crows come with a wire on the bottom, but you could just hot glue it to the top of the pumpkin.
I used a black marker to fill in the white styrofoam.
Add the sheet moss to the bottom of your display piece. Then add the pumpkin.
This one has a battery powered light inside too.
Let some of the sheet moss drip over the sides for an eerie look.
I added the second crow and another pumpkin I had and I'm done with my Halloween decorating!
If you don't have a cloche, I always use a cake stand to decorate. Like this one.
The pumpkin crow would look great on a cake stand too!
I hope I've inspired you to do a little Halloween decorating of your own.
Thanks for stopping by,
~Karen~

ReplyDeleteGreat idea. I do not have a cloche but I have two cake stands...one round and one square. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI loved your idea and I had bought two of the crows from dollar tree. I put mine on old wooden spool and put it in my hurricane lamp. Thank you for the idea. I had so much fun putting it together. Hugs,
