Last day of summer is September 22nd.
However, this past Monday was Labor Day and that pretty much marks the end of summer for me...and you know what that means!
No more shaving above the knee!
You're laughing because you know what I'm talking about or you're laughing because you never shave above the knee any way. Lol !!
Let's hear for less shaving !
Happy Thursday,
~Karen~
I agree...less shaving is a great idea!
ReplyDeleteToo true! I really don't want to think of summer being over yet, but you have to look on the bright side I guess.
ReplyDeleteI know I'm going to be the odd person out here but I shave every other day! I just can't stand the stubble or the least little hint of hair on my legs or arm pits. So, I'll continue to be the hairless odd ball who visits your blog. Oh, and just so you know I'm an almost empty-nester who's 50 and I've always been this way.

Yahoo - this marks the beginning of summer for us in OZ, and clean shaven/waxed legs

I won't miss the bending and stooping to paint my toe nails so I can wear sandals!
ReplyDeleteI never shave above the knee any way!!!! :D
ReplyDeleteJust to keep a balance, on the other side of the hemisphere we are starting to shave as we speak. Spring starts September 21st!!
ReplyDeleteLOL Karen, even though I live in Florida, I never 'grew out' of that habit. My teenaged daughter thinks it a little odd...
ReplyDeleteYup! You totally have me nailed :o) But here in AZ summer still going strong so I have at least another month of shaving above the knee.
ReplyDeleteLOL....you crack me up! My hubby pointed this phenom out one time. We were of course in a boat with a bunch of new friends & everyone heard the question "how come you don't shave above you knee?"
ReplyDeleteYou made my day!
ReplyDeleteMaria
ha ha, I don't normally shave above the knee. The worst part is when I actually forget to shave the knee and I am out and about and notice all the long hairs growing from my knee--yuck! :)
ReplyDeleteYeah!!!
ReplyDeleteNever shave above the knee. I love winter as I don't bother shaving below knee either as I either wear trousers or thick tights and boots.
ReplyDeleteHip hip hooray! Once a week or month, depending on the time of year, but never above the knee!
ReplyDeleteI follow over 300 blogs, and you are the only one to ever bring up crazy stuff like this! Too funny!

omg HOORAYYY for less shaving! It'
ReplyDeletes a nuisance and I really wish it were acceptable not to do it at all! lol!
Well, I must say, that having Breast Cancer fixed my hairy problem! There is a silver lining if you look hard enough in everything! My hair is all back now but soooooo lighter and sparse! On my head it is back, dark and strong. I will occasionally shave my legs, every 3 or 4 days. Yahoo!
ReplyDeleteHappy Fall Karen!
I read this post to my MIL. We both got a nice laugh out of it. I quit swimming years ago (not gonna see this body in a swimsuit) so, I don't have to shave above the knee anymore. LOL! Thanks for the laugh!
