Since this is the first Sunday (or Monday if you had a crazy holiday weekend like we did) in July, I think I'm going to have Christmas in July!
space
Here is this week's give away. Almost 2 yards (1 yard 33 inches to be exact) of Sandy Gervais' Christmas X-citement for Moda. It has 7 seven rows and includes 3 panels of repeats. You can make 3 different panels if you wanted. See on the bottom row...it repeats Merry Christmas 3 times.
space
This is a close up of the rows.
space
The first rows are stars and trees...
space
Then a navy blue row of snow flakes.
Next is a row of houses.
then snowmen...
Not sure how the colors show up on your computer, but they are true navy blue, burgundy, olive green, brown and a tea stained looking cream. When I first bought this fabric, I pre washed it, just to let you know.
space
You can cut up the rows and use them for borders, cut them up and add your own blocks in between the rows and make a cute sampler wall hanging or just quilt it as is. No matter what you do with this fabric, it will be cute!
space
Now all you have to do is leave a comment on this post and I'll pick the winner next Sunday.

Thanks again for being here,
~Karen~
I haven't seen that print and it's really neat! I started in January making Jolly Santa quilts for all of the women in our family and the girls over 20. Could I beg?
ReplyDeleteThat is so perfect since there are 3 girls over 20.

So cute!
ReplyDeleteIt is very cold in this part of the world at the moment, so those snowflakes and snowpeople seem very appropriate to July.
Oh my Goodness. That fabric is cute-ness personified!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Vireya. It's freezing down under at the moment and I love that you're posting Christmas fabric. We're doing Christmas in July at work this month so we can experience what Christmas in winter is like.
This is a beautiful panel. I could see myself making some pieced blocks to alternate with the panel rows to make a larger quilt.

I have started a embroidery quilt, it will have square's with things that remind me of the happy times of my child hood. Christmas was always the happiest time, so I would use this to help my quilt along. And any left overs (if there was any LOL) would be used for a Christmas wall hanging that I have been going to start. Thanks for the awesome inspirations.

Very nice Christmas print. Can't wait to see what can be done with it. It is great to get all excited about Christmas this early in the year - gives us all time to start work on those projects we should have done by then (ie Christmas stockings for the kids that I haven't made yet@!).
