Kelsie, our youngest daughter, graduated Friday night. The weather was perfect and the ceremony was beautiful.
Here they are proceeding in...Kelsie is the last of these 3 girls on the right.
She was very excited. Her smile couldn't get any bigger.
Here she is with Courtland, our oldest daughter Courtney's boyfriend.
Too cute.

This has to be my favorite picture of the 2 girls.
We're so proud of her!
Then right after the ceremony everyone changed clothes and we were bused to the All Night (and I mean ALL NIGHT) Graduation Party.

First an all you can eat Luau...
dancing to the DJ.
Then real Luau dancers...
Fire show.
Then on to Paint Ball (sorry no pictures of that) and a huge tent with a DJ and a foam machine and more all you can eat food.
The foam just poured out of the ceiling for 2 straight hours!
This was the kid's favorite!
Then an unbelievable show with an illusionist/mind bender. He did the most amazing tricks. The kids were stunned. This man was wonderful...he had to be. He needed to keep all of us awake. At this point it was 3:00 am. They were passing out bags of candy for the show. I guess we needed a sugar rush.

Next was a huge carnival with a pizza bar, ice cream, popcorn, games, prizes, moon bouncers, basketball, dodge ball etc.

and then onto the swimming pool. I don't know how they did it. They were wide awake at 4:30 am.
Last was a bowling party with more food, Karaoke, balloon maker, fortune teller etc. By this time it was about 5:30 and they were pooped.
This was a wonderful night. There were over 180 kids and we did not have to speak to anyone or have any issues the whole night. They were so great. We were all exhausted the next day, but we'll have those memories forever. The most important thing was they were all together in a very safe environment!

ReplyDeleteAwesome Celebration you all had! Our Kelsey Graduates this Friday Night, but we wont have the kind of Fun you guys had as we don't have enough Grads. It's a small private School with only 6 grads this year, so the Party will be back at our home after the Ceremony.Kelsey has managed to do both Grade 11 & 12 this year and we are so proud of her too! Thanks for sharing your pictures with us.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Kelsie. We used to have Operation Graduation at our local high school in NJ and it was quite an event! Looks like yours was spectacular!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's a fabulous list of Grad party events! Congratulations on your newest graduate. Your girls are beautiful. They sure look like sisters, unlike my two who don't look alike at all!

Thanks for sharing with us!! Congratulations to Kelsie! What a wonderful memorable night!
ReplyDeleteYou must be so proud! What a gorgeous family you have. Who organized the ANGP? What an amazing time for those lucky kids! My son had a similar experience last year except that it wasn't nearly as busy. Mind you he was in a graduating class of 600+ so I guess they had to scale it down. I just found your blog and am enjoying it very much.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful time you had! Congratulations to all.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to your daughter. And I have to say - what an all night party. Wow!! It looks like it was a wonderful time!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the graduate! How exciting for her. And it looks like they all had so much fun!
ReplyDeleteWhen the picture of both your daughters came up I thought "Wow - how much alike do they look" , then I saw you and thought "How much do they take after you" Karen!
It's lovely seeing young people have fun without what seems to be all the usual nonsense. What great kids! No wonder you're so proud.
Looks like they all had a great time! Oh to be young again and have all that energy! LOL
ReplyDeleteCELEBRATION TIME BABY!!! Talk about
ReplyDeletemaking memories, they will remember
that night forever. They will talk
about that night forever. That is
great they were in a safe place.
Congrations to them all!!! That is
a wonderful photo of your girls and
of the family. Dad, you need to
coordinate your shirt with Mom and
daughters. LOL.. Just kidding Dad..
Glad everyone had a good time and
was safe. ":O)

Congratulations on your daughters graduation!! The party looks like it was a lot of fun and a great way to keep the kids from drinking. It's nice the parents were invited to participate also.
ReplyDeleteWhat an excellent idea for a really fun and safe way for the kids to celebrate. I'm going to share this idea with my sister in law. My niece goes to a small town school and it would be something her class to save money to do when they graduate in 4 years.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, your daughter is beautiful. Congrats to all.

What a great evening/night for all of the kids. Great pictures.
ReplyDeleteWe had an after graduation party also some 45 years ago this month, but it was no where near what this was. I remember bowling...and that is about all. I am sure food was involved also. Good times!
