Thoughts on Thursday...

Since we strolled down memory lane last week in the candy store, how about your favorite television show when you were younger.

I played outside when I was little, but believe me I had my fair share of TV time. LOL
  • The Walton's
  • Brady Bunch
  • Gilligan's Island
  • That Girl
  • Hawaii 5-O
  • Bewitched
  • Star Trek
  • Quincy
  • Get Smart
  • Mission Impossible

Oh my gosh, I could go on...maybe I didn't play outside, because I could seriously add more shows!!

What was your favorite television show in your part of the world?

Happy Thursday,
~Karen~

  29. Apparently I'm older than you - the shows you listed were on when I was in high school when it had to be That Girl. As a child? Howdy Duty was my very favorite before I started school. When I was five, I told my mom I wanted to change my name to Princess Summer Fall Winter Spring. That's what I named my current dog although she goes by something much shorter. And then there was Rawhide with Clint Eastwood (even if he was the co-star rather than the star) and Wagon Train. Oh and Bonanza, in living color. It was the era of the western. I've found those three broadcast again on cable. One more thing that makes me feel young!!!

  30. LOL...boy did that ever tell how old I am....LOL Thanks for the memories.

  31. We grew up out in the country. On a good day we got three channels. NBC, ABC, and CBS. My parents felt strongly that the kids needed to be outside playing off all that energy. The TV was turned on at 6pm for the news.
We were allowed to watch the 8pm show and then off to bed.
When we went to grammas, she lived in town, we got to watch cartoons and sitcoms we did not get at home.
When I was in highschool we were allowed to watch more tv. That girl, Brady Bunch, Fantasy Island. Sunday night at 8 was a treat watching a Disney show.
