Here is a super easy tutorial for a 2*10 apron.

What's a 2*10 Apron you ask? Well, hop over to Stash Manicure  (click the red link to go) and you will find my tutorial full of pictures on how to make an apron for yourself or for gifts.

I was asked by Rae Ann to do a guest post on her amazing blog. Stash Manicure is a place where you'll find wonderful ideas from other bloggers on how to organize and start using your stash of fabric. Even though we may find ways of using up our stash, it doesn't mean we can't buy more fabric...right?

Sorry to my friends who are also friends on Stash Manicure and you saw this tutorial yesterday, but it's a good one and I wanted to share it with all of you.

The aprons will make great gifts and they are super fast to make. Head on over and leave a comment there if you'd like and let me know what you think.

Thanks a million for always being there,

  1. Karen, I love that tutorial. I have been meaning to make an apron to hang out clothes and keep the clothespins in the pocket but I have too much else to do right now. This would be perfect. Plus, I am constantly seeing fat quarters I love and I don't dare buy too many to add to the stash of remnants I have now with no purpose in mind. Thanks for this.

The aprons are fabulous! I especailly love the one with the pocket. It is great for wearing
around the house to put things in as I pick up.

  12. Hi Karen,

I saw your post on Stash Manicure. It is exactly what I've been loooking for. I have a couple of budgies out the back in a large cage, which I cover up each night with a double bed cotton blanket. Each morning I'm left with a couple of handfuls of pegs, plus the blanket to wrestle with. The apron with the pockets will be an absolutely perfect solution to my problem. I've been looking through you blog. It is awesome! Your tutorials are great...really clear to follow and you have fabulous ideas. Thank you so much for sharing. I'll be visiting regularly. :)

  14. Hi, I love spending time at you site. I was wondering since you are so good to do tutorials, how did you get the page categories on your sidebar? I would love to have pictures of various rooms etc. and if you click it would bring up the post for that room. If you ever have a spare moment to help I would be very thankful. Lisa
