Thin might not happen, but I'm thinking it. You know...thin waist, thin legs, thin butt. I'll take one of the three right about now. I started walking more with hubby and I'm also trying very hard to eat better. "Trying " is the word.
spaceBelieve it or not the below picture is deceiving...it is so yummy and good for you too!!

These bagels are new from Thomas'. They are thinner and are only 110 calories. A regular bagel can be over 300-400 calories
We have had them...and they are very good!!!
ReplyDeleteI started walking with my hubby this week, too! We have to get up really early, but it's worth it! I love nature just before dawn anyway. LOL! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm trying really hard to do better also. My Wonderful Husband is even getting me a bicycle for Mother's Day!
ReplyDeleteYes, I love the 'everything' one and it's great with homemade peach jam, but I love apple butter, so I'll have to try it - thanks -D
ReplyDeleteKaren~~ I walk 3 miles every morning with my neighbor who is a

Oh yes, apple butter is great! Have you ever made it yourself? Pretty easy and so delicious!
ReplyDeleteI think thin all the time, but as we all know, it's not the thinking that gets you there! It's the first step though, right?
Love your white dishes! They remind me of my mother. Her 'good' dishes were all white.

I love apple butter, especially with butter, lol.
ReplyDeleteI used to get one that was pure apple and now the store changed the brands. Tough when I find something good that I can eat and they change things.

Try Pumpkin butter. It's awesome. You can find it at most Amish stores or in specality shops.
ReplyDeleteI've not seen these in our grocery stores, but I sure will be looking.
ReplyDeleteI am going to try these and I love apple butter, have forgotten about it to tell you the truth, used to eat it whenever I went to my aunts house in Maine.

Do the bagels come in whole wheat as well? That would make it even healthier. I haven't had apple butter in years, but I'm also trying to avoid real butter (have no self-control when it's around ;), so I'll look for it next time I'm shopping. Thanks for the suggestion!
ReplyDeleteAs a girl raised in Ohio, we always had apple butter in the house. I sort of forgot about this wonderful treat. As I'm counting calories too, it would be good to have around. Thanks for the reminder! xo,
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm a lifetime weightwatchers member.
ReplyDeleteLately its been a tough go. I have been told that I have high cholestrol and need to cut out all red meat, butter, eggs, cheese.....The list goes on. So I have started back to WW and have now cut out all of the above for the last 3 weeks. You know I don't miss it. Now is apple butter in the same catagory as butter?
Wishful thinking...that's what I do all the time. Action is the word and what a lovely way to start...thin bagels and my fav, apple butter. Thanks, for the reminder.
ReplyDeleteI love apple butter! Didn't know wallyworld sold it. I may have to go through the aisles a little slower next time and actually see what they have to offer.
ReplyDeleteI will be on the lookout for Bagel Thins. Apple Butter is so good!
ReplyDeleteThe daily walk work so well for my hubby & me. We miss it on days when our weather is not cooperating.
I saw the bagel thins at the grocery but I wonder if they come in wheat. I eat a bagel with peanut butter in the morning. I have a huge apple tree in my yard...I wonder if it's hard to make the apple butter? Love your blog, very cute. I am newbie when it comes to blogging, but you inspire me!
ReplyDeleteThey do come in whole wheat, plain and everything (perhaps onion too).
ReplyDeleteKaren, I have been meaning to tell you that we have adapted your Tool Time Tuesday with my grandson. Tuesday was the day he could come and spend time with his grandpa in the shop after school and learn to use hand tools and the like. We have our own version of TTT. I love4 the dog gate and now we are getting food advice. You are too cool.
ReplyDeleteI found these thin bagles a couple of months ago and really love them. I haven't had apple butter in years: I will have to try it. Just have to figure out where to find it.
ReplyDeleteI need help thinking thin!!!
ReplyDeleteMy grandma made the best apple butter...now you have me craving some toast...
ReplyDeleteHave a terrific Tuesday ~Natalie
I just got the thin bagels and I like them, but my husband says they robed him, he also said they kept the middle! :) He is funny and likes his bread!
