Riced Krispie Treat Easter Carrots!!!
These bunnies might eat them before Easter though...
Come in and see the easy steps to make these little delicious cuties...
She made a regular batch of rice krispie treats from the back of the cereal box. Just pressed the mixture in a 13x9 cake pan.
To cut the treats...
After the treats set, cut the mixture in half down the length of the pan. Then score 4 equal lines across the pan to create a pan of rectangles that is 5 rows across by 2 rows. Remove each rectangle and cut it from corner to corner on the long end.
It should look like this.
Now insert a medium sized lollipop stick into each triangle.
Shape it a little to round off the sharp edges to make it look like a carrot.
I forgot the before picture, but this is the aftermath of the melting of orange chocolate melts and the dipping process. You can buy the candy melts in any craft store.
Dip the treats in the chocolate. You may have to spoon some on. Set in the refrigerator and add curly pipe cleaners for a stem.
Fill up the basket and it's all set for Easter dessert!!
This would also be great to wrap individually for all the kids.
Cute and yummy!!
Hope you have a very Happy Easter with your loved ones this weekend!!
Thanks for stopping by,
~Karen~
