Thoughts on Thursday...

Looking in your purse, pocketbook, tote bag, back pack, wallet etc...what is the most important thing in there that you wouldn't leave home without...besides money!

Mine...cell phone and lipstick!

Come on, let's hear from all of you.

Happy Thursday,
~Karen~

  7. Notepad w/pen and my tinted chapstick!

  8. Definitely phone, keys and iPad!

  9. Wallet with ID and debit card, phone, and organic sunscreen-free lip ointment/balm (I'm a little sensitive to the sunscreens, which is unfortunate since I'm fairer than Snow White). My purse doesn't hold much more than that anyway. Which reminds me that I need to get a slightly bigger purse -- 3 kids means I now need to keep extra essentials like tissues and sanitizer.

  10. Besides the essentials- wallet, keys, phone- I always have my rosary beads.

  11. Even when I streamline into a clutch for an evening it's always got cell phone, lipstick, driver's license, credit card, a few bills, and a pill case with Advil and Immodium, just in case. My absolute minimum to be carried with me everywhere!

  15. Karen my kids call me Inspector Gadget because I have everything
in my purse. I mean everything,
from screwdrivers, pliers, sewing kit, first aid kit.....humm and so much more. I guess if I had to leave everything and just take two things it would be my drivers license (so if I have a wreck they know I am Inspector Gadget) and
cell phone (so I can call and tell
someone Inspector Gadget has had a wreck). LOL.

  16. funny you should ask this!I had my travel coffee cup in my purse..thinking it was SAFE. NOT! Dumped coffee all over the inside of my purse. now all the purse DRECK is on the kitchen table! HAVE To haves: chapstick (hey! I live in the DESERT!), car remote, ATM/Credit card/drivers license, digital camera (you NEVER know when you will see a quilting design in someones shirt..or the floor tiles..or, well you get the picture!)and kleenex. I'm off to get a new camera...the lens won't open on the old one. Too bad, but I wanted one with video anyway!

  17. Oh, I've been known to leave the house without my license on more than one occasion (oops!), but being a mother of teens, I would never be without my cellphone! Although, now that they're at college, I've caught myself without *that* a couple times lately!

    ReplyDelete
  18. Cell phone and driver's license...and photos of my grandchildren (lol).

One more thought...usually have something small to read in case I get caught somewhere (like an oil change) and need something to occupy my time. (And no, I don't have a huge purse-just your normal Vera Bradley!)

  34. Right now my purse contains my wallet (money, credit/debit cards, checkbook & license), chapstick, camera, phone, small notepad and pencil, hand lotion, various coupons and Kindle. That's usually what I carry around everywhere. Rarely any downsizing for me :)

  35. Tums. Hey, I've got kids. I need my Tums.

    ReplyDelete
  36. My reading glasses- otherwise I can't see a thing.

    ReplyDelete
  37. My kid. Apparently, society frowns on leaving three year olds at home alone...

    :)

    ReplyDelete
  38. My driver's license is always with me so I won't include that. So I never leave home without lip balm & hand lotion. I can't stand the feeling of dry hand & lips.

  39. I don't know what's in there that I really wouldn't leave home without, but whatever you go looking for, it's always at the very bottom... can I get a witness?
    Hugs,

  40. I always carry cell phone, keys (car & house) and card wallet. I can get along without most other things and really only carry a small purse these days.

  44. How could you list just one thing... Assuming I would have my car keys, I would still have to have sunglasses, wallet, phone and lip gloss. I could leave my coupons at home, but not if I was going out shopping... That is a tough question.

  57. Because many public bathrooms have toxic chemical air fresheners I always bring my surgical mask, I use it also if I have to go down the cleaning products isle though I make most of my own chemical free products. I also have a small bottle of scent free soap so I don't have to use the chemical soaps that public bathrooms provide.
