Courtney Graduated!!!

We had a wonderful weekend. Courtney graduated from Roger Williams University on Saturday!!

She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a double major in Graphic Design and Web Design. She was also a member of the Alpha Chi Honor Society and received awards for the highest GPA in her major, achievement and leadership awards and scholarships for Bridging the World with her trip to Japan.

We are so very proud of her!!

There were 1080 graduates on Saturday and I found her in the procession line!!

Here is a a little glimpse of the day...

The biggest tent ever!!

Hats off in celebration!!

Courtney and her boyfriend Courtland, who also goes to Roger Williams. He is in my other daughter Kelsie's class. They will graduate next year!

Proud mom and dad...

and proud sister too!!

Here they are on the first day of pre-school...I have a lump in my throat with these two pictures.

The university is in Rhode Island where we are from, but about an hour and 10 minutes away, so the kids live at school. We just love having them home now!!

The university is at the base of the Mount Hope Bridge...the end of a wonderful day and exciting 4 years.

Congratulation Courtney...We Love You!!!

  20. Congratulations! I know the wonderful feeling of great pride in the accomplishments of your daughter. It is amazing, I was told girls didn't go to college, and later managed three degrees, but this generation takes it naturally. That is the supreme accomplishment!
