Tool Time Tuesday...Business Card Organizer

Happy Tool Time everyone!! Tuesday's, here at Sew Many Ways, are about turning things we find in different stores, usually the hardware store, into something else. However, it's not always the hardware store....sometimes it's automotive stores, garden shops, office supplies etc.

Well, today I found this little business card holder in the dollar store...Dollar Tree actually. Don't you love the dollar stores.

Clear pockets to hold business cards, but you know there will be other things in this little cutie!!

Easy slots to store so many things.

Of course your friend's cute business card!!

Hi Tina !! Pop over to Tina's blog and give her some blogging love. She just dropped her daughter, Julia, off for her first year of college.

Now that you have some business cards in there, how about...

Fabric swatches for when you are matching fabrics for different projects.

Memory cards for different groups of pictures.

You may have one memory card for quilts, one for vacations, inspiration, kids, grandchildren etc...

Paint chips for all the rooms in your house. Easy to match things for your decor when shopping.

Special receipts that you "need" to save.

How about a spot for just "gift cards"...always have them in one place so you're ready to shop. Don't forget to write the balance on the back of the card with a permanent marker, so you'll know how much you have left on the card.

A perfect place for stamps too.

It's small and easy to tuck away in your purse.

Frees up some space in your wallets too.

There are so many other things you can tuck into this card holder...just look in your purse and see what things can be organized for easy access.

Happy Organizing,
~Karen~

  7. Karen, Great ideas!

I have a large card organizer that I use for sewing machine needles. Seeing your post though, I think I need to pick up a small one to keep in my travel bag, for classes and retreats,

  10. Hi, Karen,
We have two or three dollar stores in town (3,000 miles away from you). I really like this card holder. Can you tell me which particular dollar store you found this at? Maybe I'll get lucky and not have to drive to more than one.
    Thanks, Judie

  15. Thanks so much for sharing this. I have been looking for a convenient way to store memory cards and keep them close at hand. Right now they are swimming in the bottom of a box on my desk, that also has loose stamps in it. Love this ideas so much!

  20. This a great idea and to keep it closed and neat in purse or travel bag put a ponytail rubber band on it, match the color or use a contrast, it looks great.
