Diesel is a little more expensive here in Australia, particularly where we love away from the big cities but diesel is more economical per litre. I gave up stopping on an even number; now I just try to get a full tank. And Karen, I'd get more than two full tanks for the amount you paid! Here in southwestern Virginia it's $3.15/gallon at my local Kroger, but with each $100 I spend at their grocery stores I can take 10 cents off each gallon. So it often comes to under $3/gallon when I fill up.
