This would also be great for you quilters who may not have your unfinished quilt on a stretcher or need to remove it to finish one that needs to get done first. Hanging them like this you can also add a note as to which quilt you are working on as well. I think you could also use the tubing on the part where you hang your tops as well. This would stop the shoulders from getting a "bump" on or near the shoulder areas as well when a top is wider than some of the hangers or in the case of those of us still using wire hangars! Joan Crawford would be appalled at that! lolLinda Moberghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17570807918987152645noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-444221130150558371.post-12220139297152785152013-02-02T18:06:36.192-05:002013-02-02T18:06:36.192-05:00If you want to recycle something while doing this ...If you want to recycle something while doing this project, rather than buying the tubing, you can use old paper towel rolls instead! Just cut the slit down the roll length and pop it over the hanger. You could decorate the roll with fabric too which would also help with the grip :)Trudaloodhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02077878089662461766noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-444221130150558371.post-2894272472641116092012-10-06T15:41:07.806-04:002012-10-06T15:41:07.806-04:00I like to use SWIM noodles for the larger size (I ...I like to use SWIM noodles for the larger size (I use it for delicate knits) and so I can get those pretty colors. The center hole is rather large and makes it particularly prone to spinning(I've juryrigged them for now.) Probably the hole is big enough to tuck this smaller tubing inside...that with the spot of glue might be just the ticket. Thanks!
