Make Your Own Christmas Address Labels...Picture Tutorial

It's that time of year where we need to start writing our Christmas or holiday cards soon. Christmas cards can be a long process...writing your Christmas wishes on the inside, including a picture or newsletter and then filling out the envelope.

You can make that last step of writing out the envelopes a little easier by printing your own address labels for each person and making your own return address labels too.

Tool Time Tuesday...Christmas Craft with a Pot Holder

Happy Tuesday everyone. The holidays are fast approaching and crafting seems to be on my mind. That little voice keeps saying..."Get it done early", but whether I listen to that voice is another thing.

This time of year and even when the holidays are right around the corner (as in Christmas Eve and I'm scrambling!!), I need projects that are quick, easy and inexpensive.

Today's Tool Time is just that...wait til you see how easy this is!! It's kind of a "cheater" pennie pocket!

This version is a place setting holder, but it's also a little take home gift too.  The perfect party favor!

Ribbon Organizing...With a Deck of Cards

Since I missed Thrifty Thursday due to the power outage this week, I thought I would share Thrifty Thursday on Saturday...better late than never!!

Ribbon. We all have it and we all love it. We buy it by the spool or we buy it by the yard. The big thing is how to organize it. I've had lots of ways over the years, but this idea is for the ribbon you have that's not on a spool.

The thrifty part is you use an old deck of cards!!

We Have Internet...

Thank you to everyone who commented or checked in on us during the hurricane. We weathered the storm with power back on midweek, but we just had cable, internet and phones restored last night!!

We live along the southern coast of Rhode Island and our town beach and Misquamicut State Beach areas are devastated. Being without internet and television, you seem out of touch. Although we did have cell phone and radios. I am just now realizing the destruction in New Jersey and New York.
