Sharing on Sunday is my way of saying thank you to each and every single person who stops by my blog, even for just a moment.

Today's give away is all about roses...

a 3 pack of file folders...perfect for organizing

a 2 pack of matchbook style note pads...

a 3 pack of matching rosy pens...

a package of sticky tabs...note pads and tabs to mark your place.

and how can I not include a little rosy fabric. This a piece of Moda fabric from Robyn Pandolph's Folk Art Christmas. The piece measures 12" x 22", so it's a thin fat quarter, lol !! The color is a true mauvey pink with burgundy roses. I'm not sure if the picture comes across as true.

I know I usually ask you just to leave a comment, but let's mix it up a little this week. When I'm sewing or blogging I ALWAYS have a cup of tea by my side and sometimes a salty snack.
space
Let's all leave a comment to enter this give away by telling what we eat, drink or snack on when we are sewing, crafting, blogging, reading etc!!

This is going to be fun to see what people say!!

Thanks for stopping by,
~Karen~

  1. Water! That's it! I'm a cheap date! That's what I have with me at all times. But on a rare occasion, depending on the weather, I might also have a hot cup of tea or an iced coffee. But always water! No snacks...don't like getting my fingers messy while crafting!

Looking forward to reading what everyone else has to say. Lovely rose themed giveaway this time!

  3. Well, it depends on the weather/season. If it's cold, then a cup of tea is perfect. If it's warm weather, iced tea or water. Regardless of the drink, I always try to keep it far away from my sewing machine and fabric because I'm such a klutz! haha!

What a nice rosy giveaway. :)

  4. i love Dove chocolates with peanut butter filling.....yummmmmm! I would love to win your give-away.

  7. What a lovely pink giveaway!! Those file folders are so different!
I don't dare snack when I'm stitching as, with hand piecing, I'd be worried about getting something on my fabric that would stain it!! But I drink tons of water.
When blogging or reading, if it's the morning, I'm drinking coffee. Other times of days, it's water. And as for nibbling, my favourite are digestive cookies. Perhaps boring, but true.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Tea and dark chocolate. :-) Thanks for the fun!

    Have a great summer!

    ReplyDelete
  17. I usually only have water as I don't want to spill anything else on my project!

    Great give away!
    SheilaC

  18. During cool weather I drink hot tea and during our hot OK weather I drink iced coffee. Sometimes I throw in some almonds to crunch on.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Chai tea...hmmmm, think I need to go and get one now!

    ReplyDelete
  20. Lovely rose giveaway!! I've been trying not to snack too much lately, but I do keep a jar of dry roasted, unsalted peanuts by my chair. I'm a diabetic, so I try to keep the carbs down. I've also been drinking iced tea lately. Trying to stay away from carbonated drinks. Wish me luck!

    ReplyDelete
  21. First thing in the morning is to make a cup of coffee and read the lovely blogs, in the afternoon I prefer tea.Oh, yes I do love chocolate, but...
The roses you are giving are wonderful, I would love to win it

    ReplyDelete
  26. I don't snack. I never thought of snacking when I sew. I quess it's one of those things that keeps my mind off of food. I do drink tea though. No one can believe my tea concoction I drink all day every day. It is cold tea with powdered creamer and real milk and a sugar substitute. I put it in the freezer until it just starts to freeze and then it goes into a thermos. I even take it to work. Yum! The roses are so rosie. Who wouldn't want a sewing room full of those beauties.

    ReplyDelete
  27. What a beautiful rosey giveaway! Working part-time in a chocolate shop, means that there is always something chocolatey on hand. (I have to know my product :), anyway that's my excuse) And of course a nice big mug of hot tea.

    ReplyDelete
  28. If I snack something, although I don't use to, it's sweets, I don not know the name in english but they are those little bear covered with sugar.
    Thanks for the chance. Besos

    ReplyDelete

  30. I don't snack while I am sewing but I do break for a cup of tea and english muffin with peanut butter.
    Elaine

    ReplyDelete
  31. love to enter your fun giveaway...always have to stop for a cup of tea and maybe a biscuit...

    ReplyDelete
  32. I try not to have chocolate in the house because otherwise that would be what would be next to me when I craft!

This last week I have been desperate for chocolate though, so I am ashamed to say I have had the jar of dark cooking chocolate next to me! Not quite as good as Cadbury, but it will do!

    ReplyDelete
  33. I can't go by without having a pack of chips sitting beside me while I craft and every now and then I'll take a "hands" break and grab a banana paddle pop to eat before I head back to whatever I'm working on :) Barb.

    ReplyDelete
  34. The give away is sooooo gorgious!
I love having a large cappucino (or 2 or 3 LOL)and shortbread or chocolate to go with it or both :-)) but most of the time I'm a good girl and have just cappucino.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I'm pretty boring when I sew - at least when it comes to food. I keep a water bottle by my side, sometimes a protein bar. When I'm "computerating" (my DH's word for it) coffee is my main juice, and whatever snack food is available. I'm craving Cashew granola bars lately. Love the giveaway! Beautiful items that I'll definately use!

    ReplyDelete
  36. While sewing I always have a glass of ice, tea and banana nut bread. At the computer I love my tall cup of cafe mocha. LUCKY me has a barrista to make mochas.(a xmas gift from my hubby). you might be asking yourself, why the glass of ice? Well, I love chewing on crushed ice.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I always keep a giant mug of water with lots of ice! Once in a while a double espresso. I don't usually bring any food into the sewing room.
The rose collection is just beautiful. I would love to win this great giveaway. Lynne

    ReplyDelete
  38. wow, interesting comments! Guess my sewing sessions must be boring, I just sew LOL. When I need a break I have water, that's if I remember to be healthy, or otherwise, which is most of the time, Moccona coffee. If I realize I'm hungry and there is chocolate or chocolate biscuits in our home, they doesn't last long. I like to take my breaks outside, perferably in the sunshine, admiring our roses!

    ReplyDelete
  39. I'm a TEA person, too. I enjoy teas from Teavana, a franchise tea leaves store that is our local mall. My favorite is White Peach, but I love anything fruity and caffeine free.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Actually, I have nothing to eat or drink when working on quilting projects. BUT...I do tend to have snacks of all types and drinks (water, usually) when at the computer!!!

    ReplyDelete
  41. It depends on when I'm blogging. If it is in the morning, I'm drinking coffee. At night, it is iced tea. No food at the computer.

    ReplyDelete
  42. It's coffee in the morning at the computer and only water in the sewing studio. No colored drinks of any kind near my quilting!

    ReplyDelete
  43. it is Dr. Pepper for me, not so much a snacker but I drink a lot of Dr. P.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I usually have a glass of water, or sometimes juice. We keep mini candy bars around, so a bit of chocolate once in a while is a good snack.

This is a beautiful giveaway! Thanks so much!

    ReplyDelete
  45. coffee, coffee, coffee... gotta have my coffee! snack food... not so much... but coffee yes!

    ReplyDelete
  46. I try to have a tea in the evening if I'm x-stitiching. If I'm sewing I don't have anything, too afraid of getting my cotton soiled.
I drink coffee in the morning while I blog.

    ReplyDelete
  47. As a true Southern Gal, I love sweet Iced Tea. In the winter I do enjoy hot tea but it is usually a tropical flavor like Mango. Very beautiful roses :-)

    ReplyDelete
  48. Ice Water and lately I have been enjoying Crystal Light hard candies in lemonade flavor...

    ReplyDelete
  49. I have Diet Coke and Ritz Crackers near my chair. I love the roses theme.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Always a lot of water, but I love to have tea with pita chips.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Right now I'm on a Twinings Green Tea binge. It has a smooth, clear flavor and I enjoy drinking it hot. If I snack on anything while sewing...it is chocolate. I've discovered that if you eat the M&M's before they melt in your hand, it keeps the stains off your fabric. (Love the rose themed products!)

    ReplyDelete
  52. Thanks for a chance to win!! First of all, just wanted to tell you that my "design wall in the window" is up and working perfectly, thanks for the great idea. As far as snacks and drinks, it's coffee, coffee, coffee in the morning and Constant Comment decaf tea at night. There are 2 snacks that I try not to buy, Sun Chips and cheese popcorn, but of course they find their way into the house somehow :-)

    ReplyDelete
  53. Beautiful roses! I am sitting here right now with my cup of Salada Tea. They don't sell it in NC, so I have to stock up when I visit my parents in CT.
Love your blog and tool time.

    ReplyDelete
  54. I usually just have a diet soda or maybe coffee. I sometimes grab a handful of chips for energy. Would love chocolate but don't usually have it in the house.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Water and sometimes a bowl of pretzels, but usually just water.

    Marie

    ReplyDelete
  56. Always water. Sometimes a cup of coffee depending on the time of day. Would love to always have M & M's but they don't seem to last when sitting by my sewing machine. LOL
    Thanks for the give away.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I LOVE coffee! And I'm into gingerbread right now (I know its the wrong time of year, but hey!) I usually eat the gingerbread before starting on my crafts though as it creates a lot of crumbs.
Thanks for such a great giveaway! I love stationary!

    ReplyDelete
  58. My drink of choice is Diet Dr. Pepper. I never learned to drink coffee or tea like a real adult! I can't snack on chocolate when I'm sewing, so I make do with the next best thing, chocolate licorice. Kathie L in allentown

    ReplyDelete
  59. All these items are so beautiful, Karen! And, pink is my least favorite color, LOL! I'm usually sitting at the computer reading with a glass of water and ice and a drop of lemon juice.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Hi Karen, what a cute idea and such a pretty giveaway. I'm drinking a fab-o cut of earl grey tea...if I'm going to munch it will be on something salty!!

    ReplyDelete
  61. I've been known to spend hours reading blogs..I enjoy them so much. Usually, I have a cup of green tea...I try not to eat around my laptop too much(I'm one of those crumb droppers) but occasionally I will have my lunch, my tea breaks and now and then, breakfast at the computer...can you say "obsessed".

    ReplyDelete
  62. For me it is either water and/or tea, usually earl grey. Absolutely no snacks. Hobby time is a good time to not think of food. The brain is too occupied dreaming up new designs and projects.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Iced tea. Can't live without it! And sometimes at night I have to put my stitching down to eat a bowl of ice cream.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Pretty giveaway!

Usually a diet coke is somewhere in the vicinity, though these days it's Crystal Light raspberry lemonade with a sprig of the mint that's flourishing on my deck.

Eating? Not near the fabric or the machine!

    ReplyDelete
  65. Something cold, usually water, cherry juice or cola. not usually any food, but if i do it is a piece of candy.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Ummmmm........lemme see....if you open the top right drawer you'll find some red licorice. There's a "rose" bowl on that shelf full of lemon drops. My sweet little heart box holds gum and I always have something light and cold in an insulated mug - might be water, juice (cranpeach is a very favorite) or mango Gatorade. Of course my assistants need to be considered...Bryn and Maui always have fresh water on their sewing mat under the cutting table.

    ReplyDelete
  67. I usually have either coffee or tea next to my machine. When I'm in Florida, it becomes ice tea or ice water. I love chocolate M&M's, but have recently found an unsalted trail mix type snack that also keeps my fingers clean, and is a bit healthier too!

    ReplyDelete
  68. I almost always have a drink with me. What drink depends on the time of day/day of the week. Since I work outside the home during the week, my only sewing is in the evenings and my drink would be water before dinner and coffee after dinner. On the weekends, it's usually coffee in the morning, water or Diet Coke in the afternoon and coffee in the evening.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Ice tea! I always have ice tea available, second choice is water! It keeps me going!

    ReplyDelete
  70. I tend to forget about eating and drinking when I'm sewing! LOL Thanks for another giveaway. You don't have to enter my name if you don't want to since I just won. But I'm entering this one for my daughter. She'd love all those lovely rosey things! :0)

    ReplyDelete
  71. Wow! you guys are all so much braver than me. When I craft I try not to have anything liquid near by, I am too much of a klutz. But when I am on the computer it's coffee hot, coffee cold, just coffee, coffee, coffee.
    Thanks for the beautiful giveaway.

    ReplyDelete
  72. I usually have Jasmine tea (my favorite) and dark chocolate or sometimes a cookie.

    ReplyDelete
  73. me encanta el te con unas galletitas a media tarde, para hacer un alto en la costura besos de mº jesus

    ReplyDelete
  74. What a thoughtful thing to do. I will add my thanks to the list. Stitching is my substitute for snacking however up until I met with my doctor two weeks ago I would have a glass or two of wine while I stitched in the evening. Since I am on a weight reduction plan I drink water while I stitch and I may snack on a few almonds or pretzels.

    ReplyDelete
  75. lovely roses on everything! Well if it's in the morning, I'll have a cup of coffee and my half bagel as I'm perusing blogs. Lunchtime will find me with a galls of water, and well if its after happy hour, its' a glass of wine or maybe a gin & tonic if it's a lovely hot day! And I am a salty snack fan as well!

    ReplyDelete
  76. Just love all those roses!! I usually don't eat - I'm so engrossed in what I'm doing that I don't think about it. But I do have to have my coffee - decaf and lots of it.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Drink water most of the time but when sitting down and reading I love to have a cup of tea and 2 ginger cookies. Love the roses, thanks.
    Marge

    ReplyDelete
  78. Beverages -I always have water available and coffee in the morning/hot herbal tea afternoon. If I'm sewing on the machine, no snacks. Otherwise, Cheez-its or chocolate. Thanks for this giveaway. Roses grow well on our sandhill especially the knock-outs in front of my window. mlwright29 (at) hotmail (dot) com

    ReplyDelete
  79. I hardly ever drink or eat while I am crafting, but I may occasionally have a glass of water with me, and if I am in a creative block, a few Skittles might help me get back on track!

    ReplyDelete
  80. Because I'm English, it has to be tea. Just now I like Blue Eyes, which is fruity tea, very fragrant and thirst quenching. I don't eat while I'm sewing.
    Your rosy giveaway looks delicious.
    Blessings, Star

    ReplyDelete
  81. What beautiful goodies you are giving away...when I am ready, I love to have some pop corn and diet Dr.Pepper handy...when crafting...always have a bottle of water and a milky way helps with I hit a road block.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Oh ,this is different. When I'm Blogging (I don't have my own yet I just enjoy visiting quilting /crafting and gardening sites) I relax and surf with a glass of Pinot Grigio wine. When quilting I have a cold glass of well water at my side. No snacking either time. I might treat myself to a chocolate breack once a week.

    ReplyDelete
  83. There's always a bottle (stainless steel in purple, of course) near me when I am sewing. And, ususally, the obligatory dark chocolate, Hershey's Special Dark since I can't get Belgian chocolate (anyone going to Europe?) and I can't find Scharfenberger any more.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Since you asked....a cup of tea. Always tea, even at night which is probably not good for me but I do it anyway! It's nice to know there are other ladies sitting with a cup of tea somewhere maybe at the same time as me sometimes! thanks for a chance to win one of your lovely rose prizes.

    Cyn in Ontario

    ReplyDelete
  85. I have water on hand when sewing.
Would like to say I love your blog. It has inspired me to paint my sewingroom and make a couple of your organizing projects. The Sunday giveaways are also lovely.

    Sheila

    ReplyDelete
  86. What a lovely giveaway! I love everything about roses except the thorns.
I don't dare eat whilst crafting...clumsy me would regret it I'm sure!
Reading is another matter...my favorite is a big bag of sour cream and onion potato chips...

    happy stitching,
    Cari

    ReplyDelete
  87. Sweet tea always! Food changes, but chips or cheez-its is pretty common (salty!)

Great giveaway btw, my mom would love all this stuff & her bday is coming up!

    ReplyDelete
  88. Hi Karen...Tea and water...and believe it or not Gold Fish!! LOL while blogging or doing my sudoku...

Beautiful giveaway... Because I loooove roses...this one is perfect for me...keeping my fingers cross!!

    Hugs and God Bless,

    ^A^ngel♥

  89. karen~ water and crackers and sew,
    sew,sew. Please enter me..":O)

    ReplyDelete
  90. Usually it is just a bottle of water. Sometimes if I am feeling frisky, it could be wine! I like wine sometimes when I read too!

    ReplyDelete
  91. My favorite sewing snack is Dove's dark chocolates. Yum! I also like to have a diet lime Coke.
    What a great giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  92. Well, I can't sew without eating/drinking something. For drink it is usually either coffee or rasberry tea. I frequently eat fiber one bars and sometimes pepperment tootsie pops. Well, a girl can't sew on love alone, can she?

    ReplyDelete
  93. I'm pretty boring or "safe" I guess. I don't eat or drink while I'm on the computer or while crafting. Too afraid that I'll spill something!

    ReplyDelete
  94. I have my tasty cup of green jasmine tea and gingersnaps to "assist" me through hours of stitching and blogging! :) Love the roses theme!

    ReplyDelete
  95. It's usually ice tear for me! Something chocolate sounds good right now...grin.

    Billie

    ReplyDelete
  96. I drink lots of water. Would love to be drinking sweet tea but can no longer tolerate the sugar. No snacks! All good snacks have oil or chocolate residue and we just can't have that on our fabric. Soooooo it's a pretty boring foodie time. You would think I'd be losing weight. Maybe it's not that I'm not eating while sewing, but that I need to do a lot more sewing while not eating!

    ReplyDelete

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a comment...I just love hearing from you!
